FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

To support the strong growth of our company, we are currently seeking an experienced Clinical Allergy Technician to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be proving quality allergy services to our patients under the direction of our physicians/providers and their staff. You will manage the day-to-day operations of an allergy center within a physician’s office. From triaging patients and administering finger prick allergy tests to educating patients about the benefits of immunotherapy.

Job Duties:
  • Triage patients and conduct a finger-prick blood test under the direction of the attending physician
  • Send blood samples to the lab and pull patient test reports for the physician
  • Educate patients on allergy prevention and management
  • Schedule patients for their allergy injections, administer and document allergy injections
  • Follow up with patients that have concerns, questions, or scheduling conflicts
  • Upload billing and patient information to the portal as requested by the billing team.

Requirements

Candidates must live in the target area and have 3 years+ of allergy and immunotherapy experience.

  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Customer service
  • Must be a critical thinker with attention for deatils
  • Bilingual is a plus but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Phone etiquette
  • Multitasking and strong communication skills are imperative

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Medical assistant: 2 years+
  • Allergy testing and mixing immunotherapy experience
Compensation
  • W2
  • $18.50 – $22.50 per hour
  • Monthly bonus structure
